Here’s a bunch of sketches. I haven’t done anything with these because a lot were drawn last night while watching Pink Floyd’s The Wall.
Emily and a machete, still trying to work out her appearance and everything.
A scared Poe.
Sitara and Wesson (there’s two sketches on that one, might have to click to see both).
Random doodles. Chick with awesome hair, a HS!Luci, and a little Maggie/Lilith headshot.
Regan and someone’s Heavenly sword.
Ramblings for Sahariel.
Terrence, Emily, and Sahariel.
I’ve actually never drawn or hashed out exactly what Emily looks like prior to this. In fact, I’m still not settled on details. I just know she has a half-length tail that’s fluffy as all get-out.
Terrence will always look like a girl, I think. This is also the first time I’ve actually drawn him, as well. Stupid foppish hair.
And then there’s Sahariel, who I’m sure people will tire of seeing, but I do’t care.
Art project. I wanted to do more with the final product, but eeeh, I copped out at the end because I’m lazy as shit and inking is a lot of work. As is shading. Which is obviously did not do.
The words on the final version are from a childhood story I love called Switch On The Night by Ray Bradbury.
Now I have to write a 5-8 page paper on my process. Which means I have to stretch out ‘I sketched it, I inked it, I colored it, I fucked around with it in Photoshop’ into at least five pages.
I think this is the beginnings of my project for the art course that’s not really an art course this semester. We’re supposed to do something, and document the beginning/middle/end and write some ridiculous five to eight page paper about it. I figure, I’ll stick with what I know and throw in a bunch of bullshit imagery about myself and make it all deep and profound.
